Left Austria Saturday evening for Geneva on a study trip. Mum was still in hospital in a stable condition. I managed to book my ticket to Kenya for next week, and hope to get my passport before then. We arrived in Geneva at about 11am and got to visit the old city (really beautiful) unfortunately, my phone was out of batteries and had to borrow a friends' camera, so pics will follow soon.
Got up early in the morning, had breakfast and got surpried by an email from my brother that my mum had been sent to the ICU(Intensive Care Unit), that was the same time we had to leave the hotel, meaning I would loose my internet connection and can't access my brother or anyone back home. That was 4 hours of my life that I felt so insecured. I managed to reach my husband and friend back in Austria who connected and checked about mum.
She is now back to stability and had to get a dialysis this morning. Anyone reading this, I am asking (PLEASE) to keep my mum in your thoughts of being grateful...am soo soo grateful and always will be. I hope to enjoy the rest of the days here in Geneva (leaving tomorrow) and off to Paris till the end of the week. Keeping you posted my blog follower, and thank you all for reading my blog....
